Advisory Board Member
Kerri Lore has 20 years of public policy, strategic partnerships and government relations experience, having worked at both local and provincial levels of government for most of her career. Her most recent government role was as Director of Policy with the Provincial Government (BC LDB) where she led the policy shop for both the liquor and cannabis portfolios and initiated and led the Branch’s local government relations strategy to help the public cannabis retail chain navigate BC’s varying and constantly changing municipal regulatory landscape. Her role also included serving on a number of inter-ministry working groups related to cannabis regulations and economic development initiatives.
Kerri made the jump to the private sector in March 2021 to take on the role of Manager Government Relations with Pure Sunfarms, one of Canada’s largest, single site, licensed producers of greenhouse-grown cannabis located in British Columbia. She is excited to be embarking on this new adventure and hopes to help support industry navigate the Canadian regulatory framework, initiate meaningful dialogue for change with policy makers, and position Canada as a leader in the global cannabis space.
Kerri grew up outside of Nelson, BC and holds a degree in Political Science from UBC and Public Sector Management studies from the University of Victoria.
